MiniCSU Control and Supervisory Module

The compact MiniCSU is 1U high, 485mm wide and 280mm deep. Space is provided in its sub-rack for a modem. It can be connected to up to 15 KR-4825 / KR-4850 Rectifiers or up to 60 KR-48100 Rectifiers, providing accurate current sharing.

Used in conjunction with the MiniCSU, the WinCSU control and monitoring software is Windows® based, allowing either local or remote control of the rack power system from a computer. It displays parameters and status of the rack power system and individual SMR, battery events and time-stamped alarm log. It can be linked to any number of sites through modem connection.

Battery Cell monitoring is provided as an optional card which interfaces with the MiniCSU. It provides monitoring of individual battery cell voltages during both charging and discharging cycles. This information is valuable to an experienced user who can then make an informed decision on when to replace poorly performing cells.

A sample screen of the WinCSU software with battery monitoring is available. (155Kb)
