PBM1 Portable Battery Monitor
The PBM1 is supplied with WinPBM, a Windows-based program which expands the capability of the PBM1. It accumulates data and alarms history and provides graphical presentation of discharge events and cell voltage data. The PC may be connected locally or remotely via modem and allows remote monitoring of a battery .Features The battery monitor can monitor a 24V or 48V battery containing 2V, 4V, 6V or 12V cells. Individual cell voltages of a battery can be viewed on the PBM1 display in real time. The cell voltage rounded to the nearest 5mV is displayed together with the cell number and its percentage deviation from the average cell voltage of the battery. All cell voltages can be displayed in "Histogram" format on a local or remote PC with the WinPBM software for a very convenient and rapid visual indication of deviant cells. The PC can display the real time cell voltages pr cell voltages stored during a previous discharge. In this instance, a mouse driven bar is used to select at which point in the discharge to display the cell voltages. A line graph of cell voltages vs time can be selected as the PC display to observe the manner in which the cell voltages as a whole decreased during a discharge. It is also possible to select all the cell voltages to be displayed (in different colours) or a particular cell voltage to be displayed together with the average cell voltages as a function of time. In a permanent installation, an automatic daily report to a remote monitoring PC can be selected. In addition, any alarm will be reported as it occurs. Specifications
