PRODUCTS1. DC Power SystemsPower SystemsTopaz DC Power Systems offer a wide range of DC power systems for telecommunication applications, from as low as 10A up to 6000A or higher. These DC power systems are categorized by power range to address the different power requirements for various applications.
Rectifier modules used in the power systems have N+1 redundancy, are normally hot plug, compact in size and provide very high efficiency of more than 90%. The system is controlled and supervised by a Control and Supervisory Module that enables setting of parameters on the rectifiers, and parameter and fault reporting on the control module. When used together with the Control and Monitoring Software,it also allows control and monitoring of the system from a remote site. Control and Supervisory ModuleThe Control and Supervisory Module features battery equalisation and temperature compensation, battery events log, displays of rectifier alarms and an alarm history log, with the capability of automatically dialling an alarm to remote locations. It can be connected to up to 60 Rectifiers providing accurate current sharing. Used in conjunction with the Control and Supervisory Module, the Control and Monitoring Software is Windows® based, allowing either local or remote control of the rack power system from a computer. It displays parameters and status of the rack power system and individual SMR, battery events and time-stamped alarm log. It can be linked to any number of sites through modem connection. The MiniCSU Control and Supervisory Module is a horizontal version providing basic control and supervision. The TPCSU Control and Supervisory Module is a vertical version providing basic and advance control and supervision.
